not that we’re advocates for pulling fire alarms, but when it means your reception has to be evacuated, and there’s suddenly time for epic-sunset photos… well, you send a mental thank you note to the three year old who meant well, and you take off and shoot that sunset! thanks again to Jess & Grant for having Dru & I along for the ride!
For Nicole and Jeff’s day, we were handed the entire buffet line of weather – rain, wind, sun, cloud, and a truly unreal sunset. And these two not only took it in stride, but laughed the entire way through the day. Guys – your attitudes were unreal, and we had a phenomenal day with you both! We hope you enjoy! Candace & Dru
so honoured to have been a part of such a magical day! this bottle cove elopement featured immediate family, some of the most thoughtful vows we’ve ever heard, and landscapes & light that were nothing short of a photographers dream. meg, steve, and macy… THANK YOU.
so many great elements to this day! an outdoor ceremony, phenomenal weather. a well-planned timeline, and the opportunity to cap the day off during the blue-hour. thanks so much for having us, Danielle + Jordan – and congrats again, you two! SaveSave
A relaxed morning. A secret ceremony held for their closest people in a nearby camp. A trip to Bottle Cove for just the two of them, where we experienced some of the most stunning shooting light you could ask for. And a reception at the fantastic Humber Valley Resort for all of their family and friends… You couldn’t ask for a better day, and we’re beyond grateful to have been a part of it.

so, we’re going a little off book here, but we couldn’t help ourselves. this session was shot the week after Adam and Danielle’s wedding on the beautiful Little Bay Island – or more affectionally amongst the locals, LBI. its not often we get to see couples after the wedding when things have slowed considerably, so it was an honor to be invited out to shoot a few photos for Danielle in a place her family has such a history with. the fact that we were taken on a sea-kayak trip to see the icebergs, shown the family home that had originally…
we hope you have a cup of coffee nearby. this one’s a long one… but this day was so full of magic, we had to do it proper justice. there’s weddings that are always going to stay with us and this one is most DEFINITELY one of them. we’re so glad you brought us on for the ride guys – thanks again Erin + Adam, for what may very well be the million time!
