we still can’t get over this day. we headed to the east coast for this wedding, and these women took rain or shine to a whole new level… 200mm of water later, a few camera repairs, and we’d STILL do it all over again. thanks for being amazing, beauties. we’re so lucky in this life to come across people like you.
so, we’re going a little off book here, but we couldn’t help ourselves. this session was shot the week after Adam and Danielle’s wedding on the beautiful Little Bay Island – or more affectionally amongst the locals, LBI. its not often we get to see couples after the wedding when things have slowed considerably, so it was an honor to be invited out to shoot a few photos for Danielle in a place her family has such a history with. the fact that we were taken on a sea-kayak trip to see the icebergs, shown the family home that had originally…
a cloud cover day, a cathedral veil, the bay of islands, dry humour, pet visits, and a night shot in the rain (which they hoped for) – it may sound like a strange list… but it makes for the most ideal day. thanks for having us you two, we loved it from start to finish!
a few highlights from karen + andrew’s big day – shot throughout stephenville & port harmon, NL!
what a way to kick off our spring + summer season of weddings. 2016, you’re looking absolutely beautiful. a huge congrats to Charity + Rick! every location we visited was magical.

In case you missed it, we were recently featured on Styled in Lace! SIL is a fantastic blog operated by Colleen Fiske, which provides mountains of information if you’re looking to plan a wedding here on the east coast of Canada. We’ve been long time browsers of the site so it was an honour to see our work as a post! Ledon & Trevor’s wedding was originally featured here on Cunning & Kennedy here. A huge thank you to SIL! (aren’t I funny? no?) seriously though, this year should be named The Year With All The Weddings. Or, if you’re into even more lengthy titles: The Year With All The Amazing Weddings: Such As This Couple Who Got Married In a Movie Theater While Their Guests Ate Popcorn. and the bride looked like a mermaid, and the groom looked like he walked off the set…
